When the battery is installed in the rear, to be track legal, it must have an external operated switch that shuts down the engine. If the vehicle has an alternator, only a 4 post cutoff switch can accomplish this. Welding cable is very flexible and rugged and works very well in this application. They copper lugs at each cable end are high quality and will add to the ease of installation.
