All brackets are 7075 series aluminum, the strongest aluminum alloy ever made. The battery sits on 1/4 thick rubber strips inside the box. With this battery box installed you will gain an extra 4 of clearance between the battery and rear brake caliper. This is necessary for long travel suspension.
