This airbox allows you to relocate the battery, starter solenoid, voltage regulator and wiring to the inside of the airbox where it is protected from rocks, mud, etc. The picture shows the starter solenoid bracket mounted above the filter. We have relocated it lower in the airbox to make more room for the air filter. Does not come with a filter. Works with any filter available for the stock air box. Built from 5052 series aluminum for strength, good looks and corrosion resistance. All brackets are made from 7075 series aluminum, the strongest aluminum alloy ever made. All hardware is stainless steel with Nylok retaining nuts. No modifications are required to your stock wiring. You will need to cut the rubber tube that goes from the carb to the air box in order to remove the section that goes to your stock snorkel. It is not needed for this air box.
